Express Entry
Express Entry is an online system that is used by IRCC to manage immigration applications from skilled workers within and outside Canada.
There are 3 different immigration programs that are managed through Express Entry:
Canadian Experience Class
This program is for skilled workers who have Canadian work experience gained within the last 3 years of application. Most of the students and workers in Canada can apply under this program if they qualify
Federal Skilled Worker Program
This program is for skilled workers with foreign work experience. They must meet certain criteria for education and other factors including age, education and work experience
Federal Skilled Trades Program
This category is for skilled workers who are qualified in a skilled trade. They must have a valid job offer or a certificate of qualification
